American Ginseng Seed (Statified)

American ginseng (Panax quinquefolius) seed that has been stratified and is ready to plant. Seeds must be kept cool and moist. Seeds must be planted as soon as possible after receiving them. Ginseng prefers shade (>80%) under deciduous forests (maple, oak, etc.) in good, soft, rich soil that drains well. Plant in the autumn for spring germination. Protect from critters (both seed and new plants) and watch it grow for the next 5-10+ years before harvesting!
