Hi All,
Welcome to the new forum for using Western (or non-Chinese) herbs in the practice of Chinese medicine. This group is the new version of the FB group that I started several years ago. Please read the following:This group is for those interested in the integration of Western herbs into Chinese medicine. This is a professional group, and group members should be well versed in Chinese medicine, if they don’t already have a formal degree in Chinese medicine. This is NOT a group for “lay herbalists” or Western herbalists who are interested in learning about Chinese medicine. This group is for trained in Chinese medicine practitioners who are actively engaged in clinical practice, and who use herbs with all or most of their patients within the framework of Chinese medicine.
This is a closed group but if you know someone how might be interested, please pass this along and they will very likely be admitted. The goal of the group it to elevate our understanding of this process and how we use the information available to use to assist our patients. Through this group I believe the potential exists for us to grow and further develop the body of information already out there.
Please feel free to comment, criticize, or put forth any ideas you might have in this regard, all thoughtful posts are welcome!
That said, as founder and moderator of this group, I have the right to remove anyone from the group if they are either being obnoxious, or just simply are not at a professional level required for intelligent conversation about this subject matter. There are plenty of open herbal groups out there that you can join.

No Hate Speech or Bullying
Make sure everyone feels safe. Bullying of any kind isn’t allowed, and degrading comments about things like race, religion, culture, sexual orientation, gender or identity will not be tolerated.
No Promotions or Spam
Self-promotion, spam and irrelevant links aren’t allowed. If you send any type of advertising to this group without prior approval you will be removed without notice, no exceptions!
Respect Everyone’s Privacy
Being part of this group requires mutual trust. Authentic, expressive discussions make groups great, but may also be sensitive and private. What’s shared in the group must stay in the group. -
